As Oneplus was a gearing up for a festive launch of its Smartphone In the Country , India's Leading Smartphone maker,Micromax, planned to gift some frustration on it's part to the new-comer by signing a exclusivity deal with Cyanogenmod Inc.This deal would withheld software updates on its side to any company other than Micromax in India.
This deal has put the Oneplus One in crossroads.The initial batch of devices would ship with Cyanogenmod with Oneplus planning to release an update to Beta-edition of its Home-Brew Rom shortly that would run Lollipop.
As earlier stated , the Smartphone would be available for only those who hold an invite at least for the near future.The company has established its service-centres in the metros as of now , which would start its operations right from today.The customer care is reportedly to be administered by HCL Care.If you are one of those who have been complaining the absence of Oneplus in the India for months since it's launch , it's time for party guys !
