Google Turns Single,Yet Again!

Yes , Google has Signed-off its sibling Motorola to the Chinese giant,Lenovo and the purchase is officially completed today.Lenovo had earlier announced its acquisition of Motorola and has been making the necessary arrangements since then.

The Mountain View Company,Google, had earlier acquired motorola for a whooping $12.5 billion in the year 2012 .Motorola's released its top-tier smartphone , Moto X , in the year 2013 under Google's convoy. The new sibling might not have staked in money blocks for its big brother , but it was a milestone in terms of software innovation. Its Signature features with the likes of active display and voice control have seduced various smartphones manufacturers of late to turn back and draw in some inspirations.

The Budget Contenders, Moto G and Moto E , needs no explanations. We all know the turbulence they brought in the contesting segment post their introduction, but everything has to come to an end that's the same with this acquisition too.Yet , we are still impressed by the way Google threw a final farewell for Motorola by building its Flagship Phone Nexus 6 under its branding.

So From now on Lenovo would continue to be the Foster Parent of Motorola , and the company has already promised that it is going to retain the Moto and Droid lineup as there always has been a positive response for those both . Lets Wish Motorola to have a bright future ahead.

Nexus Tv,Big Smart

It has always  been once in a while , we have wished to witness the charm of Android take over the Big Screen at home . It is a well known fact that Google knows you even better than yourself  and this time too the Mountain View Giant has brought something Interesting to justify its argument.

The Concept here is nothing new.We already have some biggies including apple who have been dominating this market for a few years as of now.A Setup box which plugs into your tv HDMI port and adds online streaming capabilities with the likes of Netflix, youtube to it.When reading this you may be a little skeptical and ask yourselves, wasn't this same the Chromecast promised too. This is where Google planned to deviate from the down-to-earth approach towards a online streamer.

The Nexus Player , has a User Interface of it's own  powered by a forked version of Android , Android Tv based on lollipop 5.0.An Intel Atom Processor clocked at 1.8Ghz ensures that the applications run smooth with a 1024 Gigabytes of Ram to take care of the memory requirements.A dedicated PowerVgr Gpu opens up a galaxy of gaming opportunities to be tapped further.

Google has as usual enhanced its cloud sync capabilities with its latest treatment so you would be able to pause the game on your tv when you leave home and resume it on your smartphone. The Company seems to promote the nexus player as a standalone gaming console and had planned to release even a dedicated joystick controller for the purpose.

We all know  that Google's take on Operating Systems , Being Open-Source, has always proved to be successful for the company and we think that would continue with this one too.The gadget is expected to release in early November.Let's see how it performs,Once it is Out!
